About

Crystal Twist Puzzle is a match-three game with one extra move: rotate any 2×2 block of gems a quarter-turn instead of just swapping two. One twist can set off chains a simple swap never could.

We're validating the idea before committing to full production. Pre-registering costs nothing and directly decides whether this gets built.

Building in public

Week 3
Locked the twist mechanic

Tested swap-only vs. rotate-a-block with a handful of players. Rotation won — it made far more chain reactions possible.

Week 2
Tried three grid sizes

6×6 felt cramped, 9×9 felt slow. Settled on 7×7 as the base board.

Week 1
First sketch

Started from one question: what if a match-three let you turn a block, not just slide one tile?
